I have married to my lineman almost 16 years , He has been doing line work for 13 years and we have 3 awesome kids 14,13,and 10.
Omg!.. I didn't know there was a place like this.. The introduction on the home page really sums it up what's is like to be the wife of a lineman. Had no idea that there was a place to be able to have someone relate with you. I found this on youtube by accident, I was actually trying to find out some stuff on hot stickin for my husband, and found you. I am so excited.. Thanks for creating this. <3
When I found this site..I breathed a sigh a relief! I did not know there was such a site. I am so glad to know that there are other wives that know exactly how I feel. My husband is a journeyman lineman with the international brotherhood of electrical workers. He just recently was accepted into the union and we were so so excited! That was definitely am answer to prayer. He has been in line work on and off since he was 17. He and I have been together for 9 years and linework is all we know at this point! We have 2 beautiful children..a 5 year old little girl and a 2 year old little boy. And boy do they miss their daddy!! This past thursday we received some great news......he will be able to come home every night! We were all very excited. It's going to be rather odd every night bc we have gotten so used to him being gone. I'm just so thankful that he is willing to do this just for us!!
It is so nice to find a place that has other women that can relate to how I feel, My Lineman and I have been together for 5 years, and we have a 1 year old little girl, Until recently I have always stayed behind when he goes off to work since he travels to different states all the time, Well now he has decided he wants the baby and I to go along with him, at least we are not in a hotel, but talk about stressful, I just left the place that I have called home my entire life and everyone that I knew and no one could understand why lol. Thank you for creating this site and All lineman are in my prayers. God please keep an eye out for our lineman!!!
